Here is what’s up in Munich this weekend:

Saturday – Sunday: Kirchweihdult

This is the last weekend of Kirchweihdult, the city fair that is famous for its porcelain items. There are a lot of stands to buy curiosities, to eat, to drink and a few rides for amusement. You can visit it at Mariahilfplatz.

Stalls: 10:00 – 19:00
Fun rides: 10:30 – 19:00

Friday – Sunday: ARTMUC

ARTMUC is the biggest contemporary art fair of Bavaria where you can see artworks of urban art, digital art, performance, painting, photography, and sculptures. Arrange your finances, because you can also buy the artworks you like.  Read more.

Friday – Sunday: Digitalanalog 2017

Digitalanalog is an audio, video and art festival which takes place in Gasteig and which is free. There will be concerts, video shows and exhibitions. See the program here.

Saturday 11:00 – 18:00: Doors Open Day at Garching Research Campus

Do you love science? Then you should not miss the Doors Open Day at the TU Garching Research Campus.

There are tours of research rooms, presentations, games, and concerts. Check the flyer for the program.

Saturday 13:00 – 17:00: Alpine Flea Market

This flea market offers all the equipment for climbing, skiing, and hiking. It takes place at Schäftlarnstraße 2. The entrance is for free. For more information, you can check out the Facebook event.

Saturday 17:00 – 23:50: Modeflohmarkt Fashion Flea Market

Saturday 19:00 – 23:59: Westend Music Night

Discover the locations in the Westend quartier of the city and enjoy the concerts all the night at Westend Music Night. 20 bands will be playing in various locations and you can visit all the concerts with 1 ticket costing 10 Euro. For more information, check the flyer.

 

Saturday – Sunday: MVG Museum is 10 Years Old

MVG Museum is celebrating its 10th birthday with action. Entrance is free, there are free bus rides with the historical buses and with historical horse tram. Read more.

Saturday – Sunday: WEINverliebt in Muenchen

Taste around 200 wines from 30 wineries in this wine festival. There is also street-food that goes with the wine. The event takes place at Muenchner Merkur/TZ Pressehaus Paul-Heyse-Strasse 2-4 and the tickets cost 13 Euro when ordered online or 15 Euro at the door.
