Memories from Street Life Festival

I love Street Life Festival.

Munich is fun in general. But it becomes more fun on the weekend of Street Life Festival. The long Leopold Street becomes a carnival place!

Here are some memories from the street life festival on May 20-21. If you couldn’t make it last time or can’t wait for the next one, good news: the next Street Life festival is on September 9-10.

See how lively the street is and how beautiful Munich is?

Street art for Street Life Festival (not so kind though)

Green City is the organiser of the event but also matches perfectly with Munich. The letters were a great point of attention as everyone wanted to sit inside a letter and have his/her photograph taken.

The fresh market was displaying all the vegetables that were thrown away by supermarkets because they did not look beautiful. The organisers wanted to take attention to the waste of our food. It was possible to take vegetables for free (in exchange for donation) as much as you want. When we were there, there were only carrots left.

This car looked beautiful and was the source of funky music.

This car was just parked next to the Leopold Strasse. It had nothing to do with Street Life festival but it deserved to be photographed.

The festival was highly visited.

The Street Life Festival of May 2017 was like in the pictures above. We are looking forward to the one in September!

Important note: (The photos were taken by my husband Fabio, you can see more photos of his on his Facebook page.)
