Hey hey!

Another weekend that feels cold and wintery. (is this a word?)

But you can warm your heart! with some music, art and culture again this weekend.

Here is what’s up:

Saturday’s Options:
You can start the day at MS Bazaarwhere you can shop cheap for a good cause. In this second-hand market, the revenue is going to people with Multiple Sklerose. (Open till 17 on Saturday, 16 on Sunday). During the day you can visit Photo17which is an exhibition of photographers from Munich. It is on Prater Island. If you like to get to know new cultures there are three events for you this weekend: Jewish Culture Days, Romanian Film Festival and Greek Films Week. There are concerts, talks and film screenings as part of Jewish Culture Days and it will continue one more week whereas it is the last weekend for Romanian Film Festival and the Greek Film Days.
If you want to go shopping or just hang out Goodnight Flea Market at Theresienhohe is a good idea. There will be live music, food trucks, and drinks. It starts at 5 pm and goes on until midnight.

A big event of this weekend is the Spielwiesn, the fair of board games. You can pick a game from 3000 games and play with your friends. It is open until 11 on Saturday.

Sunday’s Options:
It is the music day. What excites me most is the Go Sing Choir! You don’t have to be a member. You don’t have to do an audition. You don’t have to know the lyrics or to be able to read music notes. Just go there and join the practice. They will sing Sweet Dreams from Eurythmics. It starts at 12, be there before! At 7 there is a cool concert at Salon Irkutsk, actually two concerts. Entrance free, you just order maybe a vermut or vodka, this is what Salon Irkutsk is famous for. Of course, you can choose to visit MS Bazaar, Photo17, Jewish Culture Days, Romanian Film Festival or Greek Films Week on Sunday as well.

Have a great weekend!
