How have you been dealing with the cold? It will soon get warmer. But any way, there are many indoor events that can keep you warm this weekend.

Here are my picks for you:

Friday – Sunday Starkbierfest

Last week you read here that Starkbierfest has already started in Augustinerkeller and Loewenbraukeller. This Friday it also starts in Paulaner Nockherberg where the starker was originally born. Nockherberg might remind you of the Oktoberfest because people go there dressed up in dirndl or Lederhosen, there is live music and drinks are served in Maß (1L). At the entrance to the festival you will pay 12,90€; 2€ for entrance fee and 10,90€ for one Maß Starkbier, Helles, Radler or alcohol free drink.

The opening times of the festival:
Monday – Friday: 14:00 – 23:00 (music starting at 16:00)
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 – 23:00 (music starts at 14:00)

The festival will continue till 25th of March.

18:00 – 22:00 Friday Late at Villa Stuck

The museum Villa Stuck is open till late and you can visit the historical rooms and art exhibitions for free. There is also guided tours of the museum by young guides starting at 18:00 and guided tours of Rudolf Bott.Enduro exhibition. For more information, check the Facebook event.

18:00 – 23:45 Moonlightbazaar After Work Flea Market

Flea market with street food trucks and drinks. It takes place at Backstage and the entrance costs 3 Euro. For more information, check the Facebook event.

20:00 – 23:55 After-hours Jazz Jam

Jazz and blues at Lost Weekend. You can join the jam with your instrument or voice or just enjoy the Lost Weekend München HOUSE BAND in an evening of bebop classics, fusion headaches and modern blues masterpieces. Entrance costs 3 Euro. Check the Facebook event for more information.

Friday 18:00 & 20:00 Balkan Film Days

There are two films from Balkan Film Days at Gasteig:

at 18:00: Home / Halo München / My own private war
at 20:00: Requiem for Mrs. J

Both screenings have english subtitles and the tickets cost 7 Euro.

20:30 – 00:30 Concert of Ta Mourmourakia

Ta Mourmourakia, Greek Rebetiko band from Munich will be playing live this Friday night at Stragula Realwirtschaft and the entrance is free. Stragula Realwirtschaft is at Bergmannstr. 66. For more information and updates, check the Facebook event.

21:30 – 03:00: Champagne supernova Vol. 8: Indie-Anthems from 40 years of Vinyl

The party with indie-rock songs, played mostly from vinyl records. Oasis, The Cure, Pulp, Foo Fighters, The Verve are some of the records that you will hear. The party takes place at Substanz and the entrance is free. Check the Facebook event for more information.

09:00 – 16:00: First Biergarten Flea Market

Flea market in Hofbraukeller. Shopping and drinking beer at the same time.

11:00 – 15:00: Clothes Exchange

Bring your still – looking- good clothes (10 adult pieces + 15 children clothes) and exchange with new nice clothes. Give your clothes between 11:00 – 12:00 to the organisers and you can select yourself new clothes starting from 13:00. Entrance costs 3 Euro.The event takes place at Buergerhaus Glockenbachwerkstatt. 11:00 – 20:00 All Good Things Design and DIY Market

A market with design, art, vintage, fashion and lifestyle products. There will be also live music, shows, workshops and street food trucks. The event takes place at Reithalle and the entrance costs 5 Euro. Check the Facebook event for more information.

18:30 – 21:30: Screening of the Film “Jestem Mordercą” (I’m a Killer)

“Jestem Mordercą” (I’m a Killer) is a polish crime film and will be screened with English subtitles in Film Museum with the presence of its director. Film Museum is at St.-Jakobs-Platz 1. The tickets cost 5 Euro. Check the Facebook event for more information.

19:00 – sunday 04:00 : MCBW Opening Party

This is the opening party of the Munich Creative Business Week and will take place on 3 floors of The Lovelace – A Hotel Happening. Tickets cost 10 Euro. Check the Facebook event for more information.

11:15 – 13:15: Bring Your Own Food- Vegan Brunch

Bring something vegan to eat to donate to the buffet. If you can’t, you can also donate 7 Euro. Drinks will be bought at the Cafe Restaurant Weltwirtschaft in EineWeltHaus where the event is being organized. EineWeltHaus is at Schwanthalerstr. 80. For more information check the Facebook event.

Sunday 18:00 – 22:00: Sunday Sessions
